Reagan and Dwight Payseur, both native South Carolinians, share a love for the outdoors. Dwight spent summers at Apache Campground, while Reagan's family frequented Garden City, and together they instilled a passion for nature in their four children. Over the years, they created lasting memories camping at Lakewood Camping Resort, and Dwight dreamed of owning a beach condo, though Reagan initially saw it as a distant goal.

Thirteen years into their marriage, a successful real estate investment made that dream more attainable. Using Reagan’s real estate expertise, they purchased their first condo—a one-bedroom, second-row unit on Shore Drive. They marketed it on rental platforms, covering their costs and setting the stage for bigger plans.

When the condo didn’t sell by March 15, Reagan and Dwight decided to keep it. But on March 14, they received an offer. Energized by the sale, they turned to Myrtle Beach Resort, next to Lakewood, with encouragement from their daughter, Lexi. After viewing several units, they knew A535 was the one. It offered a stunning view of Lakewood, their “happy place.”

In 30 days, Dwight transformed A535, modernizing it with new flooring, tile, and updates throughout. Just in time for their first guest’s arrival—an hour after check-in—Reagan completed the final touches.

Their journey proves that with hard work and determination, dreams can become reality. Reagan and Dwight have not only created a special place for themselves but also a welcoming retreat for others.
